What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website we collect only what you give us and what your browser sends with it:

• Your name, telephone number and email address
• The message you write and the bike or service it relates to
• The page you sent it from and the time you sent it
• Referral information, such as a search or advert click, where available

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, to quote for work, to book your bike in and to keep a record of the work we have done. That is our legitimate interest in running the business and, where you have asked us to do something, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary: for example a finance lender if you ask us to make a finance enquiry, an insurer if we are repairing your bike through a claim, or a manufacturer for a warranty matter. Each of those is told to you at the time.

Our website enquiry forms currently open your own email application, so your message is sent by you directly to the shop rather than stored on this website.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful. Service, MOT and sales records are kept for as long as the law and our insurers require.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Ring or email the shop and we will deal with it.
