Ahsan Scooters has been on Clapham Road for over twenty years. Same address, same family, same yellow frame around the door. In that time the road has changed completely and the shop has not moved an inch.
We sell new scooters and motorcycles, and we run our own workshop in the same building. That matters more than it sounds: the person who sold you the bike is still there when it needs an MOT, a belt, a set of tyres or a repair after somebody pulled out on you.
Commuters, delivery riders, students, first-time 125 owners and people who have been riding longer than we've been open — they all come through the same door. Portuguese is spoken at the counter, as our window has said for years.
